Private cloud architecture
OpenStack control planes, tenant networking, quotas and lifecycle management.
Cloud engineer and architect working across Linux, OpenStack, Ceph and Kubernetes.
I’ve spent five years building and running the infrastructure beneath products. I work where software abstractions meet hardware: Linux hosts, OpenStack control planes, Ceph storage clusters and Kubernetes platforms.
I prefer systems that stay understandable under pressure: clear failure domains, honest dashboards, low-drama upgrades, and runbooks that don’t assume the reader built the system.
01 · Work
OpenStack control planes, tenant networking, quotas and lifecycle management.
Ceph placement groups, failure domains, recovery behaviour and production performance.
Cluster design, controllers, scheduling, storage integration and operations.
Performance investigation, observability, packaging, and small tools that remove repetitive work.

03 · Approach
Infrastructure is a product with users.
The goal is shorter incidents, safer upgrades, and engineers who can reason about the system without having to ask me.
I write about what documentation rarely teaches: the seams between components, the assumptions that fail at 3 a.m., and the design choices that make operations calmer.
